P Jayarajan to Continue as Dist Secy

 KOOTHUPARAMBA:P Jayarajan was re-elected  district secretary of the CPM at the three-day district conference of the party, which concluded here on Saturday. Eleven members - K V Govindan, K Dhanajnyan, K K Pavithran Master, Vadi Ravi, N V Chandra Babu, N Sukanya, P Santosh, Binoy Kurien, Biju Kandakkai, K V Sumesh and P P Divya - were newly inducted in the committee. The 45-member district committee has been expanded to a 47-member committee this time. Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan stayed away from the public meet.
