Muslim league worker's hand chopped in Nadapuram

KOZHIKODE: Muhammed Aslam, a Muslim League worker, and an acquitted in the sensational Shibin murder case was brutally attacked at Chalappuram, Nadapuram on Friday evening. His hand was chopped in the act by an unknown gang of members. Aslam was later admitted to Medical College subjected to serious injuries.

Aslam, a native of Nadapuram, was the third accused in the Thooneri Shibin murder case. All the 17 accused in the case were earlier set free by the Kozhikode Special Additional Sessions Court (Marad cases) on June 2016. Shibin was killed  allegedly by an armed 10 member gang of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) at Vellur, Thooneri near Nadapuram around on January 22, 2015.
