Chandrabose's Wife to Get Oushadhi Job

THRISSUR: Giving a cold comfort to the inconsolable family of Chandrabose, Oushadhi Chairman Johnny Nellore has announced that they would personally hand over the appointment letter to his wife Jamanthi on Friday morning.

The decision was taken in the board meeting a few months ago, upon receiving a letter written from Chief Minister Oommen Chandy requesting Oushadhi to explore the possibility of offering a job to Jamanthi.

However, for Jamanthi, the thoughts of compensation and appointment letters remain far eclipsed by the hopes of justice for her deceased husband.

Speaking to mediapersons after the verdict, the visibly emotional family of deceased Chandrabose said that they were disappointed that Nisham was not given the capital punishment.

“Jail time is not a punishment for an influential man like Nisham,” said Jamanthi.  “We will be holding talks with the prosecutor in the coming days,” said Dhanesh, a close relative of the family. “Can he bring back my husband to life? Why should Nisham live in a world where my husband is long departed,”? pointing out the gruesome nature of assault.
