THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hardly a month after the release of the blockbuster movie ‘Pulimurugan’, starring Mohanlal, a pirated version of the film has appeared on the internet on Friday.
However, Cyberdome, the cyber security wing of Kerala police has traced the links to the pirated movie using the ‘piracy tracker’ software and foiled the attempts made by cyberintruders to download the movie.
Web links to the pirated version of the film, which were uploaded on various websites, were also found circulating in social media. According to Cyberdome officials, the pirated copies were found on three websites including Tamil torrentz.
“All the links have been removed within minutes”, said a cyber expert working with Cyberdome.
