THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) on Saturday directed the State Police Chief to specially monitor investigation into the Wadakkanchery gangrape case.
The order came on a suo-motu case registered by SHRC acting chairperson P Mohanadas after the panel observed that top cops had attempted to hush up the case. The police chief has been asked to investigate this and submit an explanation before the SHRC during its sitting in Thrissur.
