THRISSUR: The menace of stray dogs in Kerala has resurfaced again after a brief lull with a 15-year-old girl falling to death while fleeing fearing a pack of strays at Kadangodu near Wadakkanchery on Friday morning.

The girl, Greeshma, daughter of Haridasan of Mepparambathu, Kadangodu, was returning home after buying milk. The girl got frightened when she saw a pack of strays and accidentally fell into the well that did not have a protective wall.

According to the police, the body was retrieved from the well firemen. Presently, the body has been kept at the Kunnamkulam Taluk Government Hospital for an autopsy.
