THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The labour dispute at Kannur Medical College, Anjarakandy, was resolved at a meeting convened by Labour Minister T P Ramakrishnan here on Wednesday. A four-point agreement was signed by the management and labourers’ representatives.

The anomalies in minimum wages will be resolved in consultation with the district labour officer. Arrears owing to anomalies in salary payment will be distributed at the earliest. The management will submit details of all employees to DLO. 


Bonus for 2015-16 will be distributed as per the recommendation of the labour commissioner. The management should submit an application with regard to the standing order to deputy labour commissioner. Guidelines on standing order in connection with the retirement age of employees will be discussed by a meeting of management and employees unions. They will then be submitted to district labour officer for notification.
