Air India Express air-hostess’ body found hanging from ceiling fan in Kerala's Malappuram

According to the Karipur police, Manisha Mohan’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room around 12.30 am.

KOZHIKODE: A 24-year-old air-hostess employed with Air India Express was found dead in her flat at near the Karipur Airport in Malappuram on Sunday morning.

She has been identified as Monisha Mohan of Harika Nagar, Kunnumpuram, Peroorkada in Thiruvananthapuram. According to the Karipur police, Manisha Mohan’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room around 12.30 am.

A police officer said Monisha Mohan’s mother tried to call her on Saturday night she didn't answer. The mother Jalajakumari informed a friend who lives in the same apartment building. He knocked on Monisha’s door but she didn't respond. So the door was broken down and Monisha’s body was found hanging from the fan.

Police have found a note written in English indicating that Monisha Mohan was depressed after a breakup.

The body was shifted to the Kozhikode Medical College hospital for a post-mortem.
