KOZHIKODE: Three high school students were arrested for the repeated sexual assault of three lower primary (LP) school students, including two girls and one boy, at Kamba Mala in Wayanad after the minor’s opened up about the assault at a counseling session in school.
A teacher of the LP school lodged a complaint with Thalapuzha police on Friday evening following which police have registered a case under Sections 9(1)(M),10 (2)(1) and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Pulpally Circle Inspector P Abdul Basheer and team is investigating the case.
