The awards in other categories are as follows: poem: Hemanthathile Pakshi by S Rameshan, drama: Mathi by Jino Joseph, criticism: Vamsa Chinangal by C R Parameswaran, science writing: Prakruthiyum Manushyanum by K N Ganesh, biography/autobiography: Green Room by Ibrahim Vengara, travelogue: Athmachinangal by V G Thampi and Bhutan Dinangal by O K Johny.

Translation: Soundarya Lahari by Guru Muni Narayana Prasad, children’s literature: Sunny Cherukkanum Sangeetha Pengalum by Ezhacheri Ramachandran, satire: Vedivattom by Dr S D P Namboothiri.
