KOCHI: The Kerala State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) has registered a suo motu complaint on the basis of media reports that a child, who threw up on the floor and his shirt, was forced to take the vomit and keep it in the tiffin box in which his food for the next course was kept. “If the news is true, it is nothing but blatant violation of child right that is tantamount to human rights.

It is unheard of for a teacher in a school to treat his/her child student in such an inhuman way.
It appears none will show such conduct even to domestic animals. The district police chief should give necessary directive to the subordinate office for registering a case for offences under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act and IPC, if any. The district police chief shall file a report within three weeks,” said KSHRC Acting Chairperson P Mohanadas.
