THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The conclave of the south Indian states’ finance ministers on Tuesday could well pave the way for shaping up of a new political order against the BJP-ruled government at the Centre.
Taking a call to put up a brave front against the anomalies in the terms of reference (ToR) for the 15th Finance Commission, the disgruntled states look for a nationwide campaign against the anti-federal policies of the Centre.

Going one step further, there are plans to ensure participation of other non-BJP states like Delhi, West Bengal, Punjab and Odisha in the future. The ministers who spoke at the meet hinted the issue would be taken up politically, if the BJP-led Central Government does not take the lead to resolve the issues.
