KOZHIKODE: All terror outfits which operates in the name of religion, whether SDPI or RSS, must be banned said Minister for Local Administration K T Jaleel.

SDPI has been even condemned by the Muslim community. Those associated with the party are not included in church committees, he said.

Commenting on intelligence reports that people affiliated with SDPI and other terror outfits are creeping into political organisations, the Minister said the government must check the truth behind this. "Nobody can destroy CPM by creeping into the organisation," he maintained.

Meanwhile, he added that those who were involved in murdering Abhimanyu, an SFI worker at Maharajas College, must be punished.

"Abhimanyu had come to the mainstream fighting all the odds and difficulties of his life. The murderers have killed a smart student. All religiously blind and communal organisations must be kept away from campuses," he added.
