THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:State police chief Loknath Behera has ordered all police officers, not lower than the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, to return the police personnel who have been assigned for security duty violating the norms.
In an office memorandum, the DGP on Tuesday said that if any officer found violating the norms by attaching personnel more than the allotted number, they should immediately return that personnel to their respective mother units within 24 hours. Behera also issued norms for the officers to recruit personnel for security duty.
