Steps taken to prevent repeat of Kottarakkara incident: Kerala CM

Responding to a query on The Kerala Story during an interaction after the address, he said that several people had come forward questioning the content of the movie.

KOCHI: To prevent a repeat of the Kottarakkara incident wherein a 23-year-old doctor was stabbed to death at the hospital, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, “The government has taken all necessary steps”. 

“More inspections will be conducted and further action will be taken. Those working in the health sector need not have any kind of concern,” the CM added. He was speaking after inaugurating the Yuvadhara youth literature festival, organised by the DYFI, in Kochi.

Responding to a query on 'The Kerala Story' during an interaction after the address, he said that several people had come forward questioning the content of the movie. Pinarayi said he was thankful for society’s strong stand against communalism.
