BHUBANESWAR: Bhajan album ‘Basomore Nayananme Nanda Lal’ will be launched in Delhi on September 24. The album will add another feather in Manjushree Mohapatra’s cap who has lent her voice to the hymns of the 15th century saint-poet Vallabhacharya.

Saint Vallabhacharya’s vivid description of the ‘swaroop’ of Lord Krishna as “Madhuradhipati” has found the voice of Mohapatra in the form of an album which will be unveiled at the hands of the regional head of Chinmaya Mission, Swami Nikhilananda Saraswati. Om Prakash Mohanty is the music composer and director.

Mohapatra is daughter of noted poet Gananath Das and wife of administrator Samarballav Mohapatra. All the bhajans are based on classical Hindustani ragas.
