PARADIP: Balram Das of Purna Odapada village under Raghunathpur police limits was on Saturday sentenced to seven years imprisonment on molestation charges, on Saturday.
Das had attempted to rape a girl of the same village in October, 2010. The girl managed to escape and informed everything to her parents who registered a case with the Raghunathpur police.
Hearing the case, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jagatsinghpur, Ganeswer Pati convicted Das.
