BHUBANESWAR: The 6th All Odisha State Level Mental Arithmetic Competition will be held here on January 14. It is being organised by the Bhubaneswar Genius Academy, Master Franchise for UC MAS Mental Arithmetic.
About 1,500 students from about 60 learning centres from across the State will participate in the competition which will be held at the Odisha College for Veterinary Science.
The Odisha unit of UC MAS has brought laurels in the past by winning five championships, 10 runners-up and 60 consolation prizes along with an international sponsorship to Malaysia last year.
Since inception of UC MAS in 2002, the number of schools to have adopted the course in their regular curriculum has seen a rise.
The competition will be inaugurated by the Station Manager of Air India, Arpan Sanyal. The champion of champions will win a laptop.
