BARIPADA: Headmistress of Bisoi Girls High School Pramila Marandi and her husband Madhusudan Murmu were nabbed by Vigilance sleuths on Saturday while allegedly taking bribe.
Madhusudan was present while Pramila was collecting the bribe amount in her office.
A team of Vigilance sleuths caught her red-handed while accepting ` 3,000 from Laxman Lohar of Tumuria village under Biosi police limits.
Vigilance DSP Radhakrushna Kanungo said Pramila had demanded ` 5,000 from Lohar to change the address of his granddaughter Parbati Lohar, who is studying in Class VIII in the school. Lohar informed the Vigilance who laid a trap and caught the errant headmistress.
