Doctor moves SCW over harassment

Chairperson of the State Commission for Women (SCW) Jyoti Panigrahi visited the district headquarters hospital here on Friday evening to probe the charges of sexual harassment against a laboratory technician.

District Malaria Officer Jyoti Sahu had moved the commission against Pradeep Mishra accusing him of making sexual advances. She had earlier reported the matter to CDMO Brikant Kindo, who instituted a probe,  but no evidence was found against the technician.

The technician, however, refuted the allegation terming it as false and fabricated.
