Opposing the Nalco disinvestment, BJP national general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan asked Chief Minister to come out strongly against it like his counterparts in other states.

Pradhan was addressing a rally of Nalco workers at the Smelter gate on Monday to oppose the offloading of shares from Nalco by the Centre.

“An all-party meeting and if necessary, a special session of the Assembly should be convened to oppose the move,” Pradhan said.

He also urged Naveen and Union Minister Srikant Jena, to lead all the 31 Odisha MPs to New Delhi to meet the Prime Minister over the issue.
