Ten students of St Merry Mission school here were admitted to Sundargarh district headquarters hospital after they complained of health problems following consumption of mid-day meals on Wednesday. One among them Bhumika Rao (11) is stated to be serious. Sundargarh CDMO Basanta Nayak said the students complained of stomach ache, vomiting and dysentery. He added that food poisoning is being suspected to be the reason.
Following the incident, a medical team visited the school and gave medicines to all students who had also consumed the meals.
