The NIIT Limited celebrated 25 years of Information Technology (IT) excellence in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Friday.The institute started with the motto, ‘Bringing people and computers together’ in 1988, but now the scenario has changed. NIIT Managing Director Kalyan Mohanty said the institute was determined to work on devising technologies which will be convenient for everyone .
NIIT conducts skill development training programmes for students, working professionals as well as government officials in the Secretariat. “We have been providing IT training to the government officials for seven years now. The centres in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have provided IT training to more than 10,000 students,” said Mohanty.
NIIT Limited vice-president Surajit Biswas was also present at the event. The meritorious students of the institute were felicitated during the event.
