Five passengers escaped with injuries on Sunday after a bus carrying them rammed into a roadside tree while negotiating a narrow road near Bandal village under Koida police limits in Sundargarh district.
According to reports, the accident occurred after driver of the Barbil-bound bus diverted it towards the arterial village road to avoid a highly damaged portion of the NH 520.
