A 22-year-old man drowned to death in a pond in Debabhumi village within Aska police limits on Sunday morning.
Sources said, the deceased Bideshi Nahak had gone to Nelia Bandha in the village for bathing.
Bideshi was spotted by some villagers who tried to rescue him but in vain. He was a resident of Rishipur village.
