4 injured in group clash

At least four persons were injured in a group clash at Chanchadapali village under Digapahandi police. One Bipin Bholo, who works at Bhabanagar, yesterday picked a quarrel with another villager Bhaskar Swain over fencing in their backyards. Soon it turned into a fisticuff and their family members joined it, resulting in injuries of four persons from both sides. The injured were first admitted to Digapahandi hospital and later shifted to MKCG Medical here.

Police said old enmity was the reason behind the clash. A case has been registered.

Bear panic: Panic gripped the residents of Rahada, Sandhamula villages under Beguniapada block after sight of wild bears. Yesterday two persons were attacked by the bears.
