KUCHINDA (SAMBALPUR) : Tension ran high in Kuchinda after a four-year-old child died after falling into a partially constructed septic tank of a TRW hostel at Kusmi area on Saturday.
According to reports, the child, Jatindra Kisan, accidentally fell into the tank while playing near the hostel.
Though villagers rescued him, he was declared brought dead by doctors at a local hospital.
Following the incident, angry locals staged demonstration in front of the office of Sub-Collector. They were pacified after the Sub-Collector Sayad Mohammed Aqdas announced financial assistance to the family of the deceased and action against those found guilty of negligence.
