BHUBANESWAR: A 49-year-old woman lodged a complaint with Mahila police here on Wednesday alleging torture by her husband and in-laws.
The complainant, Soubhagini Nayak of Unit-VI said she was being subjected to physical and mental harassment by her husband Suryakant Nayak (57) and in-laws for a long time.
Nayak, a meteorologist at Imphal, was posted here earlier. He moved to Imphal six months back, the FIR stated. A case under Section 498 (A) was registered and probe into the matter was on, said an officer of Mahila police station.
