BHUBANESWAR: Two books, ‘Parallel Speech’ and ‘Walking Through The Rain’, were released at a function at the Post Graduate Department of English at Utkal University here on Saturday.
Parallel Speech is a collection of Odia poems written by 15 young and contemporary poets which has been translated to English by Bibhu Padhi and Meenakshi Padhi. The other book, Walking Through The Rain is an anthology of romantic poems by Sangram Jena.
The books were released by noted poets Ramakanta Rath, Rajendra Panda and Pratibha Satpathy. Odia poets Gayatribala Panda, Ipsita Sarangi, Saroj Bal, Mamata Das and Pradyumna Senapati were also present.
