Bail for Sarathi's Son

CUTTACK: The Orissa High Court on Wednesday granted bail to Satyam Sekhar Roul, the adopted son of controversial godman Santosh Roul alias Sarathi Baba. The single judge bench of Justice CR Das has imposed two major conditions while granting the bail which include Satyam cannot leave the State without permission of the Crime Branch. He would have to appear before the investigating officer once in a fortnight. Satyam, who is in custody for last few months, had filed the application for bail pleading his innocence. On the contrary, the Crime Branch had made serious allegations against him regarding cheating, forgery and misappropriation of huge amount of money from the people in the name of God.
