CUTTACK: Commisisonerate Police has nabbed a notorious criminal Mangu alias Manoj Kumar Moharana in connection with several extortion-related complaints against him lodged in different police stations across Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur districts.
A country-made revolver and four rounds of live ammunition were seized from his possession.
DCP Sanjeev Arora told mediapersons here on Tuesday that he was involved in at least 11 cases of extortion, including five in the last four months. He had specifically targeted realtors, residential college owners and businessmen in Cuttack Sadar area.
