Russian Firm Training at ITER

BHUBANESWAR: Russian forging industry major Quantorform Limited (QForm) has chosen Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), under SOA University, as its only authorised training centre in India.

QForm will conduct its training in 2D/3D software at ITER with Dr Olga I Bylya and Prof MK Sarangi as the QForm simulation instructors, a SOA University release said.

Application of the method through use of software like QForm will be useful for students in learning and getting placed in metal forming industries and those aiming to pursue higher studies in the field that involves automobiles, aircraft, space craft and hand tools sectors.

ITER was awarded the certificate to be the authorised QuantorForm Ltd training centre at a two-day workshop on the subject which concluded on Tuesday under Pavel Mordvintsev, Lead Manager of QuantorForm, Russia. Around 150 participants including engineers, students, researchers and faculties from colleges and universities attended the workshop.
