BHUBANESWAR: With the investigation in the multi-hundred crore chit fund scam losing steam, the arrival of Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation Amarendra Singh did create a buzz in the circle on Thursday.
Singh, who is with the Kolkata Zone, arrived during the afternoon and closeted with the CBI Bhubaneswar officials in a meeting.
Source said, he was here to take stock of the progress of investigations into the chit fund scam by the probe agency.
