BHUBANESWAR:As many as 1.38 lakh out of 1.63 lakh employees of the State Government have registered on the website of Accountant General (A and E), Odisha by end of the previous fiscal year.
The process of generating annual GPF statements for 2014-15 ended on June 23. These statements can be downloaded from the website by registered users. Steps are being taken to register remaining subscribers for which assistance is being provided, sources said.
The subscribers have been informed through SMSs about the interest they have earned and the closing balance in their GPF accounts.
In case the account holders find any discrepancy in their statement, it should be brought to the notice of the District Development Officer, an official said.
During the financial year 2014-15, a special drive was undertaken for online registration of GPF subscribers, with the help of Director of Treasuries and Inspection (DTI) and Finance Department.
