MALKANGIRI: A four-year-old boy died on Thursday after he was branded with hot iron rod by his grandfather. He was undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital.
The boy, Santosh Madhi of Sukraguda village under Korukonda panchayat, was branded with hot iron rod by his grandfather Sukra Madhi after he fell ill a week back. As his condition did not improve, the boy was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital on Wednesday night where he succumbed on Thursday morning.
