JAGATSINGHPUR: A beheaded body was found from Cuttack-Paradip railway line here on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Nibas Pradhan of Saharadiha under Kujang police limits.
His family members have filed an FIR in Kujang police station alleging that Nibas might have been murdered and his body thrown on the railway line to show it as a case of suicide.
In another incident, one person died when his motorcycle hit an electricity pole at Nalibar Chowk on Jagatsinghpur-Jaipur road. The deceased is Ganeswar Jena of Kanakardiha under Kujang police limits.
Jena, along with another person, was going to Kujang when the accident took place. While Jena died on the spot, the injured pillion rider has been admitted to SCB Medical in Cuttack.
