BHUBANESWAR: Notices have been issued to seven dance bars in the City for operating without a valid licence issued by the Board of Revenue, Cuttack.
The notices were served following a surprise check by the Commissionerate of Police on more than a dozen dance bars in Laxmi Sagar area of the City on Thursday night. “The bars will be shut down till they obtain a valid licence under the Bihar-Orissa Excise Act,” DCP Satyabrata Bhoi said.
