NIMAPARA:The half burnt body of one Mamata Mallik (25) was retrieved from her residence in Bhainchigoradi village under Nimapara police limits on Sunday. Following a complaint filed by Mamata's father Ankur Mallick, Nimapara police arrested Mamata's husband Maheswar, father-in-law Siba and Mother-in-law Jhuma for allegedly killing her over dowry demand. Maheswar had been torturing his wife for more dowry for the last two months. The couple's two sons Rinku (5) and Pinku (3) have been sent to Puri District Childline. A case has been registered.
