BHUBANESWAR: The City Police on Wednesday night foiled a dacoity bid and arrested four anti-socials from Press Colony area under Kharavela Nagar police limits.
A country-made gun, bomb and sharp weapons were seized from the possession of the four who have been identified as Sk Alamin, Sk Alliajam, Sk Mutalif and Sk Anwar Hussain.
Kharavela Nagar Police, which nabbed the four during night patrol, said two other associates managed to flee.
Alamin has been booked in at least eight cases while Alliajam has six cases pending against him. The other two have four cases booked against them in the past. They were produced before a court on Thursday.
