BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday nominated Women and Child Development Minister Usha Devi as the Chairperson of Balasore District Planning Committee (DPC). Besides, Minister of State for Steel and Mines Prafulla Mallik has also been nominated as the chairperson of Jharsuguda DPC. The post of chairperson of DPCs of both the districts was held by former minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak.
Nayak had resigned taking moral responsibility for the fire mishap in Sum Hospital here.
