PUDUCHERRY: CPI MLAs R Viswanathan and Nara Kalainathan have taken up the issue of the lack of basic amenities inside the Grand Bazaar Market with Puducherry municipal authorities. The MLAs, who met municipal chairperson B Sridevi and the commissioner, later said there was only one pipeline for water supply. The flooring inside the market was also in need of repair, and three people had suffered fractures after a fall while walking, they added. The electrification there also needed attention, they pointed out.
