TIRUCHY: Guna, a notorious rowdy and history-sheeter of Mannachanallur against whom several cases, including murder and kidnap were pending, was produced before the court here and was again lodged in the central prison for another case on Monday. Guna alias Mannachanallur Guna, who was lodged in the central prison in a case related to waylaying public and threatening them at knife-point appealed against his detention under the Goondas Act. After Tamil Nadu Advisory Board declared his detention invalid he filed a plea seeking bail in the Principal Sessions Court. On Monday, Judge Gokuldhas who granted him bail.
But, the police arrested Guna in another case related to a murder of three persons in 2004.
