CHENNAI: The Madras High Court today granted anticipatory bail to a grandson of DMK Chief M Karunanidhi, who apprehended arrest for alleged trespass, forgery and intimidation.

Granting bail, Justice T Sudanthiram directed the petitioner, M K M Arivunidhi, son of Karunanidhi's first son M K Muthu, to appear before the police concerned as and when required.

The complainants--A Venkatesh and Rajesh Annamalai--lodged a complaint with the Central Crime Branch against Arivunidhi for alleged intimidation and offence under The Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act.
