Express News Service

A couple and two others were on Sunday detained from different parts of the State for questioning, following suspicions that the General Knowledge paper of the Group II examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was leaked in Erode and Dharmapuri districts.

Of the four accused, two, including the woman from Erode and a person from Dharmapuri, were candidates. The other suspect is a former TNPSC employee, who runs a coaching institution for competitive examinations in Namakkal. They were being grilled at separate locations in Erode, Dharmapuri and Namakkal. TNPSC officials, including Chairman former DGP R Nataraj refused to divulge details of the case. However, they claimed the possibility of a leak were remote.
