Random numbers would be assigned to all 1.8 lakh applicants of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) by the Anna University, Chennai on Monday.
The single-window counselling for the TNEA will be held at Anna University based on the merit list, which would be prepared according to the cut off of 200 (Mathematics 100, Physics and Chemistry 100).
TNEA secretary V Rhymend Uthariaraj explained to Express, “If more than one candidate secures the same mark, the inter-se merit among the candidates will be determined in the order of priority of percentage of marks scored in Mathematics, in Physics, in the fourth optional and the date of birth.”
