The CB-CID branch of the police on Wednesday arrested the branch manager of a private logistics company, who was absconding since April, in connection with a case of cheating a Kolkata-based firm.
S Thiagarajan (41), was held following a complaint filed by Uma Kant Das who alleged that Thiagarajan and 10 others of the Puducherry branch had cheated the Kolkata firm of `15 crore. So far, police had arrested two in the case. ENS
