Durai’s action disappoints Karunanidhi

Express News Service

DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has said his grandson Dhayanidhi Alagiri would act in accordance with the law after taking advice from his lawyers.  “I don’t know why he is in hiding. He will seek legal counsel and behave according to the law,” said Karunanidhi.

Party sources said Karunanidhi had questioned the disappearance of Dhayanidhi and expressed his displeasure over his grandson evading arrest.

On Monday he reiterated his demand for a CBI probe into all granite block allocations from the previous AIADMK regime. “The CBI must look into it. This government is filing cases at will and making arrests, especially if a DMK worker is involved,” he said.
