Children’s Science Fest kicks off

The five-day Children’s Science Festival, organised by the Pondicherry Science Forum in collaboration with the Department of Science, Technology and Environment and the Directorate of Education began here on Friday at the Gandhi Middle School in Kombakkam.

Fifty students from the three enclaves of Pondicherry - Yanam, Mahe and Karaikal - are being hosted by 50 students from the Pondicherry district in their homes, giving them an insight into each other’s culture. The festival is a model programme and cements the theme of national integrity.
