As many as 21 prison officers from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Gujarat received certificate and medals of completion of in-service course at the Academy of Prisons and Correctional Administration on Saturday. This was the 19th batch of prison officers taking up the course. Chief guest, vice-chancellor of Thiruvalluvar University Dr P Gunasekaran gave away the certificates and medals to the meritorious officers.
