The Tamil film community on Saturday hailed Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s decision to release all the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case as a bold and just decision.
Representatives from the Tamil Nadu Film Directors’ Associstion, Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council, South Indian Film Artistes’ Association and Film Employees’ Federation of South India extended their support to the CM’s decision, saying that the seven accused
had gone through unimaginable hardships during the course of their internment in prison.
